Meryl knows to contact the right people for these uninvited guests to stop abusing the person.

GREET the owner of the property.

- The owner of the property must be well-prepared for any invited guests.  It is only appropriate for a kindness to be established.

And why will this necessitate an appropriate form of explanation?
- Because someone intervened.  And the interventions were necessary to end the abuse.

When entering any form of arena, there are established grounds of constancy that enable or inhibit a human being to be who she is as a person.  Meryl has established her grounds of constancy and those who are with her are with her.

Meryl has a respectable condition of allowing the human person to be allowed to decide.  There is a decision and the answer is yes or no.
